I have a beautiful daughter, Lauren and a handsome boy, Wyatt. Lauren is complicated with two separate genetic conditions that leaves her with physical and learning disabilities and Cystic Fibrosis. Wyatt also has Cystic Fibrosis. I feel like my ‘Job’ is looking after my children. The ‘Job’ bit comes before the mum bit most of the time. Their personal PA. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m the best person for the job 😉 Their voice-Their advocate. I’m also wife to a great soul-Jonathan. He is the best partner in crime a girl could ask for.

I find time to run a little network marketing business with Doterra essential oils and share my love for them with others, I’m literally obsessed with them!!! I’m new (ish) to the holistic world but I’m loving it and our family benefits from all my new found knowledge of different things! I’m also a PT and after a few years away am beginning to take on a couple of clients this summer (23). Taking care of our bodies is important to me, as a mum more than ever.

I’m not extraordinary, but I have been given an extraordinary job with two extraordinary children. Lauren amazes me everyday with a smile as wide as the ocean no matter the challenges ahead. My life endeavors and some of her challenges along with the ordinary stuff people deal with is why I came to writing this blog. Process some stuff, celebrate lots of things and try to find a silver-lining when it seems there can’t be any. Lauren just happens to be the silver-lining to a life I thought was already pretty good; then we had her 🙂

We recently added Wyatt to our family who also has health challenges and is all round more challenging than Lauren was as a baby. He doesn’t have the neurological challenges she does, but he’s a baby developing and hardly sleeping and causing all sorts of mischief!! 😉
